Juancho Trivino and Kiel Rodriguez visit convenience store as their 'Maria Clara at Ibarra' characters
Maria Clara at Ibarra co-stars Juancho Trivino and Kiel Rodriguez are at it again.
The two shared another modern world skit featuring their characters from the hit historical portal fantasy series.
On his Instagram account, Juancho shared a short video of him and Kiel visiting a convenience store dressed as Padre Salvi and sacristan mayor Renato, respectively.
The video shows the two being amazed by the store's modern conveniences such as air-conditioning and the drink dispenser. Padre Salvi also mistakenly picks up a pet treat for himself, while Renato compares the friar's head to a bottle of roll-on deodorant.
"Panibagong taon, panibagong pakikipagsapalaran sa bagong bayan ng San Diego. Ano na naman ang ating gagawin Renato, kung saan saan tayo napapadpad at kung sino sino ang iyong kinakausap. Bueno, tayo na," Juancho wrote on the caption of his post.
Maria Clara at Ibarra is now on its 15th week and is transitioning from Jose Rizal's "Noli Me Tangere" to his second novel "El Filibusterismo."
Crisostomo Ibarra, played by Dennis Trillo, has been arrested for insurgency after being implicated by the letters Padre Salvi took from Maria Clara, played by Julie Anne San Jose.
