'Maria Clara at Ibarra' before and after post-production: Klay wanders the streets of Old Manila
Klay (Barbie Forteza) being a fish out of water was played up for both dramatic and comedic effect in the hit historical portal fantasy series 'Maria Clara at Ibarra.'
One of her first scenes in the series shows her in her modern clothing, lost and confused as she wanders the streets of Old Manila after her initial meeting with Maria Clara (Julie Anne San Jose) at the beaterio.
Klay feels confused because the place feels familiar and unfamiliar at the same time. The scene was also brought to life with the use of computer-generated imagery as well as color grading.
