"My advice to every woman out there is to really check themselves, even through self-examinations at home, while you're in the shower, whenever you feel comfortable, just do it".

Daiana found out about her health condition after getting a biopsy when she was 30 years old.

Instead of knowing the result through a phone call, Daiana was asked by her doctor to come over to the clinic so talk about her condition personally.

At the time, Daiana said she already sensed that it was a serious matter.

“I started all my research. Ano ang gagawin ko if I'm really sick? I'm just 30 years old, why is this happening to me?” she recalled.

Daiana said that she figured out what made her unhealthy.

“'Yun pala it's a lot of stress, a lot of puyat, and a lot of wrong food that people actually take that they are not aware of.”

She also revealed what the doctors found after the biopsy and what they did to help her.

Daiana shared, “Stage 2B, they also spread a little bit to my lymph nodes so they had to be removed.”

Then, she mentioned the importance of seeking help from different doctors.

“One thing that is really important to know is that when you get diagnosed with cancer, don't just listen to one person, you go to different doctors for it.”

Daiana also gave some tips on how to have a healthier body.

She said, “Everybody has cancer cells, which I believe, that will trigger in each person probably every time your immune system is down.

"So you have to really be strong, get enough sleep, not stress, if you can get rid of toxins in your body like have a detox once a month do it. It's really important.

"Avoid sugar at all costs, the cancer cells feed up sugar, so I haven't eaten sugar for the past three years and I don't think I will go back to eating sugar again.”

She also mentioned what she learned about herself after sharing her cancer story.

Daiana said, "This happened to me because I can serve as a lesson to other people on how to survive.”
