Jeremiah Tiangco shares workout tips

Kapuso singer Jeremiah Tiangco shared some tips on how to stay fit and healthy by doing jump rope exercises.

Kapuso singer and The Clash Season 2 Grand Champion Jeremiah Tiangco is the featured artist for this week's In The Limelight content where he shared his daily workout routine.

Part of Jeremiah's workout routine is the use of jump rope, which is a great calorie-burner.

“Kailangan lang po ng konting practice with the timing and siyempre muscle memory. Sobrang tulong nitong rope na ito dahil for cardio ito and siyempre sa stamina po natin. Ngayon sa panahon ng pandemya kailangan nating maging healthy and siyempre kailangan natin maging fit,” he said.

1. Basic Hop exercise

This is the most fundamental jump rope exercise that best suits beginners. This must be familiarized before moving to any of the other exercises.

2. Boxer Steps

This jump rope exercise allows you to jump for more extended periods.

3. Ski Steps

The Ski Step is excellent for improving agility and core strength.

4. Running Man

In this step, you have to look as though you're running in place. You may also spin the rope faster to increase the speed of your feet at the same time.

The Hop and Swing move is a simple exercise that gives you the ability to rest during your workout.
