'StarStruck' 7 winner Kim De Leon shares learnings after his first year in showbiz
Kim De Leon steps into the spotlight in GMA Artist Center's 'In The Limelight.'
Kim was named the Ultimate Male Survivor of StarStruck Season 7 last September 2019, a feat he considers to be his biggest career milestone so far.
"In terms of [accomplishments in] my job and being in the industry, StarStruck of course, and still. Kasi I believe or I hope na it will lead to more accomplishments," he said.
After recently celebrating a year in the industry, Kim has had a few realizations and learnings of his own.
"Patience and more patience.
"Kasi alam n'yo na, pandemic, quarantine, kailangan talagang maghintay ng tawag nila for work, sa ngayong online pa lang but hopefully next year maging okay na tayong lahat.
"And what I really learned is I have to be more resourceful, adaptive, and versatile, of course, palagi ka dapat ready. You have to prepare yourself of course.
"And I'm still looking forward for more projects at next year, sayang nga, this year naudlot, medyo lahat ng plano naudlot. Hoping for the best in my career for next year."
Despite how unfortunate the year 2020 has been for most of us, Kim didn't let this dampen his spirit and in fact, it has only motivated him more.
"It's my passion that drives me to work even harder."
In terms of his future projects, Kim dreams of portraying a superhero role on screen. He also wishes to work and share scenes with our very own Asia's Multimedia Star, Alden Richards.
"He's good, he's super nice.
"And I think he knows my name," joked Kim.
