Ayra Mariano vlogs her locked-in taping experience at 'Heartful Café.'
Prior to the world premiere of the romantic-comedy drama series Heartful Café, its star Ayra Mariano shares a glimpse of what goes on behind-the-scenes during their locked-in taping early this year.
The actress, who plays Mars in the series, shared how she prepared for their two-week taping and what goes on inside their villa which she shares with fellow stars Zonia Mejia, Angel Guardian, and Nicole Sydney Chan.
At one point, they even recreated the poster of K-pop girl group BLACKPINK during their free time -- Zonia Mejia played Rosé, Angel Guardian as Lisa Manoban, Ayra as Jisoo, and Nicole as Jennie.
“Mukha tayong tambay,” Ayra jested after taking the photograph.
“'Wag n'yo kaming i-bash, ha. Ano lang kami BLACKPINK low-budget.”
The Kapuso actress also shared a few snippets of the set of Heartful Café, and explained what she does whenever she's not doing a scene with her co-actors.
“Papakita ko sa inyo ang aming mahiwagang counter. D'yan ako nagtatago,” she said.
“Trivia eto, kasi i-explain ko sa inyo kung ano ginagawa ko sa counter. 'Pag wala akong eksena, ganyan. Nagsusulat lang ako ng numbers [sa postcard] at nakaka-1490 na ang lola mo. At least busy-busyhan.
“Minsan gumagawa ako ng kape lalo na at may now serving sign.”

Heartful Café made its world premiere on Monday, April 26, starring Asia's Pop Diva Julie Anne San Jose and Kapuso hunk David Licauco, with actors Zonia Mejia, Jamir Zabarte, Ayra Mariano, Victor Anastacio, with the special participation of EA Guzman.
The story revolves around online romance novelist and café owner Heart Fulgencio and her quest to match her customers based on their personalities and quirks. While she enjoys playing cupid, Heart remains guarded when it comes to her own feelings after experiencing a massive heartbreak from her TOTGA (The One That Got Away).
When her cafe turns to shambles, a handsome investor named Ace Nobleza comes to her rescue and turns her life around.
