Camille Villar tells the worst thing about being a Villar
In today's episode of Fast Talk with Boy Abunda, the King of Talk sat down with one of the popular politicians in the Philippines and a member of the Villar political dynasty, Camille.
During the interview, the daughter of Manny and Cynthia Villar seemingly veered away from politics. Instead, gave a glimpse of her life as a mother, wife, and child of one of the richest families in the Philippines.
“Na-spoil ako sa pagmamahal,” Camille said when she was asked about her being the only girl among her siblings and the only daughter of business tycoons and politicians Manny and Cynthia Villar.

Hosting
Camille Villar and Boy Abunda looked back on her short experience working in the entertainment industry and shared that she worked for more than a year.
Experience
When asked about her hosting experience, Camille Villar noted that she learned a lot of things and it was very different from the thing that she is used to doing. But the best thing about her short hosting job is that she found her “lifelong friends.”
Showbiz Industry
One of the things that Camille Villar picked up on her short hosting experience is that people in the showbiz industry are very driven workers who put up amazing live shows despite the demand of the job.
Responsibility
Camille Villar said she believes it is the responsibility of children to take care of their parents.
“['P]ag bata tayo, inaalagaan tayo ng mga magulang natin, pero dapat both ways… dapat inaalagaan natin ang isa't isa,” she said.
Villar
During her appearance on FTWBA, Camille Villar addressed her being a Villar, who is one of the richest families in the Philippines. She said things were practically the same from when she was young until now that she is an adult because her parents raised them in a simple way.
Materialistic
When talking about her family, Camille Villar noted that her parents, especially her mother Cynthia Villar, made sure they did not grow up to be materialistic people.
Simple
Camille Villar was also proud to share that, despite their social status, her family lived a simple life.
Love
Despite being the only girl among her siblings, Camille Villar said that her brothers took good care of her, together with her parents.
“Na-spoil ako sa pagmamahal,” she said.
Worst thing
Just like any other family, Villars have their problems, and Camille said that the worst thing about being a Villar is that she has a constant need to prove herself to people.
“Kahit anong gawin ko sa buhay, maraming nagsasabi na, 'Lahat naman ng meron siya, dahil sa mga magulang niya. So, 'yun 'yung [mahirap]. I'm doing my best naman, pero minsan hindi mo alam if that's good enough," she stated.
