How does Xian Lim break the suplado impression of him by his co-stars?

Being a dramatic actor, Xian Lim always gets the impression of being serious or snobbish in real life.

Even his new workmates in GMA, like his False Positive leading lady Glaiza De Castro, vocally admitted that she thought that the actor is 'suplado.'

But Xian proved them otherwise after he got close to his new family in the Kapuso station.

"'Yung perception lang kasi ng tao sa 'kin is when they see me iniisip agad nila, 'nako, suplado 'yan,' or parang 'tahimik lang na tao 'yan' which I am," Xian initiates during the Kapuso ArtisTambayan live session on Tuesday, May 10.

He adds, "Sobrang introverted na tao and sa mga matagal nang sumusubaybay sa akin, I do give that vibe na parang suplado, serious. Pero when I get close, since introvert ako, once I feel safe na around that person, unti-unti nagwa-warm up. Kumbaga diesel, mabagal mag-warm up. Makulit talaga 'kong tao to the point na makukulitan talaga kayo sa 'kin."

While Xian admits that he's naturally playful, he says it also helps that his co-stars, like Buboy, share the same personality as him for him to deliver his role well in the fantasy rom-com GMA Telebabad series.

Xian praises his costars, "It helps na lahat makulit. Sa buong cast, walang killjoy. Coming from mga series na 'yun nga iyakan, si Glaiza din naman 'yung mga mabibigat, it really helped na meron kaming icebreaker na haligi na ng industriya tulad ni Buboy."

It's been almost a year since it was revealed that Xian is going to star in a Kapuso series together with Jennylyn Mercado titled Love.Die.Repeat. But due to the actress' pregnancy, production was put on hold.

Xian recalls his transfer last year, "It feels great no'ng unang apak ko pa lang. Being around the vicinity with these people, I really felt sobrang warm, 'yun lang talaga 'yung masasabi ko from that project to this one, same director din naman si Direk Irene. Everyone is just really nice."

Xian also thanked GMA for giving him the freedom to be himself. "At first, siyempre, tinitimpla ko pa but, dito, right when False Positive started, do'n, ice breaker talaga e.

"Merong nagbibigay sa 'min ng script 'tapos lalaruin na lang talaga namin and I would say 80 percent ng mga sinasabi namin, dagdag. 'Yung mga eksena namin nila Buboy, tinatago na lang namin 'yung mga mukha namin ni Glaiza kasi natatawa na lang kami."

Now that production is finished, Xian hopes that False Positive would have an extension as he already misses being around his co-actors.

"Nakaka-miss itong False Positive family. Paulit-ulit nga naming sinasabi na, sayang, four weeks lang. It's a mini series. We actually want more kasi gano'n nag-jive 'yung cast. Bitin e, less than a month namin 'to ginawa."
