IN PHOTOS: 10 interesting revelations from the Eigenmanns on 'Eat Bulaga's' "Bawal Judgemental"
The Eigenmann clan is one of the most prolific and well-known families in Philippine show business.
The esteemed clan includes showbiz greats such as Mark Gil, Cherie Gil, Michael de Mesa, Eddie Mesa, and Rosemarie Gil.
Even their younger generations have produced award-winning actors like Gabby Eigenmann and Andi Eigenmann.
One day after Christmas, December 26, a few members of the Eigenmann clan visited the longest-running noontime show 'Eat Bulaga' for a guest appearance on the well-loved and always trending segment "Bawal Judgemental."
Sid Lucero, Ryan Eigenmann, Ryan's wife Cathy, Geoff Eigenmann, Geoff's longtime partner Maya, Max Eigenmann, and Stevie Eigenmann stood in as choices in the segment.
They also shared a few interesting tidbits and stories about their family.
Sid, who is an award-winning actor, shared that he initially did not want to enter show business. The sentiment was echoed by his father Mark Gil.
"Noong una parang ayoko [na mag-artista]. My dad kasi lagi niyang pinapaalala sa akin na, 'Concentrate on your school kasi sayang. I did not finish my school.' 'Yun 'yung lagi niyang sinasabi. I went to school pero sabi ng school umarte na lang ako," he joked.
His cousin and fellow actor Geoff recalled how he got his start doing commercials and had to wait in line all day to go to VTRs and go-sees.
"I went through the steps talaga kahit na Eigenmann 'yung ginamit kong pangalan. I still had to go through the steps nga para makarating kami kung nasan kami ngayon," he says.
Meanwhile, his cousin Max also started her career doing commercials and was even living abroad due to work when she was 16 years old.
"Tumira 'ko in Thailand for a while because I was doing commercials there. Noong bumalik ako dito, I wanted to do more. I guess I got curious. I decided na maybe I'll give [acting] a shot kasi may dumating na opportunity. Tapos noong nag-start na ko, na realize ko na I really love it," she shared.
The celebrity judger was Miss Eco Teen International 2020 Roberta Angela "Ro-an" Tamondong who is fresh from her win in the pageant held in Egypt.

Ryan Eigenmann revealed that while most of them are in showbiz, they do not feel the need to compare each other's accomplishments.
Television
When he was younger, Ryan always saw his parents Michael de Mesa and Gina Alajar on television and thought that it was normal. He thought other children could watch their own parents on the television too.
Private
According to Cathy, Ryan's wife, and Maya, Geoff Eigenmann's partner, the family is very "private and down to earth."
Surprise
Geoff shared that his mother actress and director Gina Alajar once gave him a surprise visit on set. She watched him do one of his scenes and made him re-do it because she was not satisfied with his acting.
Co-star
Geoff has worked with his mother direk Gina as a co-actor and says that she lets him play with his role but is always generous with suggestions for how to improve.
Director
Geoff has also worked with his mom as sa director and describes direk Gina as very detailed and meticulous.
Lucky charm
Max Eigenmann considers her father Mark Gil as her lucky charm. He accompanied her in her first audition and had to wait at a coffee shop for hours. Fortunately, Max got the role.
Youngest
Stevie Eigenmann, the youngest daughter of Mark Gil revealed that her father was against her entering showbiz and wanted her to concentrate on finishing school.
Joke
A lot of people know that Sid Lucero, whose real name is Timothy Mark Eigenmann, got his screen name from his father Mark Gil's character in the iconic film 'Batch '81.' He revealed that his father actually suggested the name change as a joke, but he readily agreed as the movie is where his dad met his mom, Bing Pimentel.
