DOTS Ph resumed its taping for fresh episodes on September 1 and the cast members as well as the production staff of the show were required to undertake the 12-day closed group filming as part of the GMA Network's health protocols against the transmission of contagious COVID-19.

In an interview with morning talk show Unang Hirit on July 30, Paul related that the all of the crew and cast members of the show underwent swab testing to ensure the safety of everyone.

“Kailangan lang talaga namin na mag-stay muna dito sa bahay para sa 'pag na-swab test na kami and good for taping na,” he said at the time.

His co-star Rocco Nacino, has also announced their much-awaited comeback.

In August, DOTS Ph bagged the Best Foreign Drama at the Seoul International Drama Awards. Its awarding ceremony will take place at the MBC Media Center Public Hall on September 10, without a live audience due to safety protocols against COVID-19.

DOTS Ph is also headlined by Ultimate Star Jennylyn Mercado and Kapuso Primetime King Dingdong Dantes.
