Marco Masa says that doing fantasy series lets him expand his imagination
Sparkle teen star Marco Masa is taking a break from the action-packed world of Elias (Ruru Madrid) in the popular GMA Prime series Black Rider and will step into the world of Jiro in Daig Kayo Ng Lola Ko.
Marco will be joined by a star-studded cast in the multi-episode story 'Mga Hero ni Jiro' namely Althea Ablan, Zephanie, Sean Lucas, Chuckie Dreyfus, Geleen Eugenio, Ariel Villasanta, and Chanel Latorre.
In his quick chat with GMANetwork.com, Marco said that doing fantasy series like Daig Kayo ng Lola Ko helps him a lot in terms of enhancing his creativity as an actor.
He explained, “Sa paggawa ng fantasy series mas lalong na-improve ang creativity and imagination namin as an actor. And madami din kaming natutunang good values na pwedeng ma-apply sa work namin as actors.”
The story 'Mga Hero ni Jiro' will address the issue of intense bullying towards Jiro's character.
According to Marco, the story hopes to impart a valuable lesson to viewers about choosing to be kind to others.
“Naipakita sa kuwento na ito ang kasabihang, 'kapag binato ka ng bato, batuhin mo ng tinapay.'”
“Kahit may mga pinapakitang hindi maganda sa iyo ang ibang tao, piliin mo pa ding maging mabait at gumawa ng mabuti. At tulungan silang ma-realize na mali ang ginagawa nila at magbago for the better.
