GMANetwork.com visited the set of Bubble Gang and caught up with the “Bagong Gang” member. We asked Arny how it feels to be part of the show, which is celebrating its 18th anniversary soon. 
Arny Ross started out as a Protégé, and now she is a legitimate TV actress. We’ve seen her in a dramatic role in Mundo Mo’y Akin, and now she is showing her funny side in Bubble Gang. What else does this rising Kapuso star want to achieve in her career?

GMANetwork.com visited the set of Bubble Gang and caught up with the “Bagong Gang” member. We asked Arny how it feels to be part of the show, which is celebrating its 18th anniversary soon.

She replied, “Bago palang din po ako sa showbiz, tapos naging part na ako ng Bubble Gang na longest running comedy show. Sobrang thankful ako sa binigay ni Lord na blessing na ito kasi hindi ko naman po ineexpect ito. Nag-audition lang ako.”

She added, “Iba po ‘yung family ko dito sa Bubble Gang, sobrang solid. Tapos pinaramdam nila sa akin na sobrang part na kami nito at makakasama na namin sila nang regular. Sobrang saya lang kasi iba ‘pag nasa set ng Bubble Gang. Tawa dito, tawa doon, kaya sobrang saya lang sa set.”

Since she has done both drama and comedy, which of the two does she consider to be her niche? What genre would she rather focus on?

“Actually, dito ko lang po sa Bubble Gang nadiscover ‘yung potential ko sa pagpapatawa. Hindi naman po sobrang comedian, pero tuwing babanat ng punchline, natutunan ko na rin from my co-actors kung papaano ‘yung tamang atake,” she answered.

“When it comes to drama, mas challenging sa akin ‘yun, kasi mahirap naman talagang magpaiyak. Doon po talaga ako mas nahihirapan, pero ginagawa kop o ‘yung best ko para matutunan lahat ng dapat kong matutunan kasi as a beginner, alam kong marami pa akong dapat pag-aralan pagdating sa pag-arte. Parehas ko naman po na-eenjoy yung comedy at drama,” stated Arny.

If given the chance, what kind of role would she like to take on? What would be the ultimate role that would test her acting abilities?

The Kapuso actress replied, “Naexperience ko na po ang drama at comedy, so siguro maganda po ang isang fantaserye na kung saan ako ay isang Prinsesa, tapos may Prinsipe, o kaya naman, ‘yung sobrang dramatic na galing ako sa mahirap na pamilya. Puwede rin naman pong tomboy, ganyan. ‘Yung mga unique na character, gusto ko po i-try.”

Among all the actors in the network, who would she want to be paired with and why?

She quickly replied, “Siguro po si Dennis Trillo, kasi sobrang galing niya sa My Husband’s Lover. Ngayon po, sila ni Ate Carla Abellana ‘yung niloo-look up ko pagdating sa pag-arte.”
