Ruru Madrid admits his 'Black Rider' stunts were challenging
Primetime Action Hero Ruru Madrid will once again surprise viewers in his new action-packed series Black Rider, which is slated to air on GMA Telebabad beginning November 6.
On Friday, October 27, the primetime series held its star-studded media conference, wherein the cast got the chance to talk to the members of the entertainment press about the exciting things to expect in this full-action series.
Ruru told "Chika Minute" that doing stunts as Elias Guerrero really challenged him as an actor.
“I would say si Elias at si Lolong parang parehas silang may prinsipyo. At parehas silang may gusto sa buhay, ang pagkakaiba lang siguro is 'yung pinangalingan nung paghihiganti nila.” The Sparkle talent explained.
“Masasabi ko mahirap po itong Black Rider talaga, siyempre dito nagmo-motor ako. Dito 'yung mga stunts na ginagawa ko, hindi ko pa ginagawa before.”

Meanwhile, Ruru's leading lady Yassi Pressman discussed some of the unique traits of Bane, who is a strong female character in the series.
“Hindi pa po ako gumawa ng ganitong katapang na babaeng palaban, pero may prinsipyo. Meron po siyang paninindigan, pagmamahal din po, siyempre sa pamilya niya. Pero meron po siyang nakaraan e, na medyo dark na mahirap po, na tinatakasan niya.”
Actor and Unang Hirit host Matteo Guidicelli also explained his exciting role in Black Rider. Matteo shared, “Black Rider is an action serye and I play a police officer. My dad is the chief of police and then kababata ko si Ruru Madrid. Maganda, maraming barilan ganun so astig.”
The show boasts a phenomenal cast including Katrina Halili, Jon Lucas, and several veteran action stars.
Ruru was beaming with pride that everyone in Black Rider gave their 101 percent in giving a quality show to everyone.
He noted, “Tulungan at iisa 'yung gusto na parang first, gusto namin makagawa ng magandang programa para po sa manonood.
“So lahat, dugo't pawis inaalay namin sa programa na ito na kahit mahirap, walang sumusuko, walang nagi-give up.”
