SB19 shares tips for rising P-pop groups
SB19 graced the All-Out Sundays "Summerversary" stage on Easter Sunday, March 31, hyping up the crowd with their latest single "CRIMZONE."
In an online exclusive interview with AyOS hosts Julie Anne San Jose and Rayver Cruz, the group was asked for their advice to rising P-pop bands.
Stell Ajero first mentioned something he noticed in local groups lately.
"Actually, 'yung sinasabi niyo na tinitingala kami ng mga P-pop groups, kami 'yung tumitingala sa kanila kasi ang tatangkad na ng mga bagong groups ngayon," he quipped.
He added, "Kasi rito sa industry, mahirap din ipakilala 'yung kung sino kayo. Marami ring times na mababatikos kayo kung sino ba kayo, ano 'yung kaya niyo pang i-offer, ano 'yung different sa group niyo. Dapat kilala niyo talaga 'yung sarili niyo at kung ano 'yung goal at vision niyo. Bakit niyo ito gusto at bakit niyo gusto ma-share 'yung talent niyo kasi 'yun 'yung number one na magdadala kung nasaan kayo ngayon. Number one sa puso niyo 'yung goal na gusto niyo ipahiwatig sa tao."
Josh Cullen likewise shared, "Siguro kailangan din talaga nilang i-trust 'yung process, ibigay 'yung best nila, at siyempre, 'yung work smarter not just harder. Kasi, kailangan mo rin talaga ng diskarte rito sa industry and basta mahal nila 'yung ginagawa nila for sure naman may bunga. At alagaan nila 'yung mga taong nag aalaga rin sa kanila.
SB19 has been in the P-pop scene since 2018 and has released songs such as "GENTO," "WYAT," "ALAB," "MAPA," and "Go Up" to name a few.
Their road to fame has also been met with several challenges and changes such as their departure from their former label ShowBT in 2023.
