Agimat ng Agila Season 2 opens with Major Gabriel Labrador (Ramon “Bong” Revilla, Jr.) believing he has moved on from the pain of losing his late wife and son. Cherishing his newfound family unit with Nanay Berta (Elizabeth Oropes) and Maya Lagman (Sanya Lopez), he moves to his new rented house near their place and continues in his crusade to protect the environment.
After a devastating incident, Gabriel is once again left grieving. He finds hope when he encounters Jumong (Kim de Leon), a 15-year-old charming homeless teen, who eventually becomes part of his extended family. Jumong gradually thrives because of the values instilled in him by Gabriel. Among other things, Gabriel also teaches Jumong how to protect himself from bullies and how to get the attention of his crush, Sharmaine (Lia Salvador).
Gabriel eventually accepts an assignment to investigate the environmental crimes of a supposedly “upstanding” jewelry company that is suspected of being a front for a disastrous illegal mining organization that also engages in human trafficking (particularly forced labor and illegal recruitment of impoverished women).
At first, Gabriel is simply neutral about the assignment, but he finds out that the figurehead of this illegal organization, (Gardo Versoza) Zeus Limjoco. Zeus may have a connection to the death of Gabriel's loved ones, and this motivates Gabriel to continue his assignment.
At the onset of his investigation, Gabriel immediately clashes with some of Zeus’ crime leaders via a shootout near one of their hideouts. It is also in this shootout that Gabriel discovers he is no longer “bullet-proof” and that his skin can now be pierced.
Gabriel finds out that his intense grief from losing loved ones and the death of the magical Eagle Mulong (the source of Gabriel’s powers) may have possibly limited his super abilities.
Meanwhile, Gabriel is questioned by an agency unit, led by Asha Raj (Rabiya Mateo), a beautiful and strong-willed Filipina-Indian agent of an international police organization. Asha is also secretly investigating the connection of the criminal underworld to the mystic arts.
Asha recruits Gabriel to join her battle against a more formidable foe. This time, Gabriel and Asha must save mankind and nature from the new bearer of an ancient evil amulet... the Talisman Dragon. Whoever gets hold of this special amulet necklace will have super strength and be immune to sickness and old age
Many crime lords have been searching for this legendary evil talisman--and one of them is Zeus, who also plans to have Gabriel and Asha killed for exposing his syndicate network.
Will Gabriel be able to get to the Talisman Dragon in time?
Will Gabriel be able to defeat the enemies of humanity and the environment even when his powers are now limited?
