Jennylyn Mercado looks back on some of her iconic roles
Jennylyn Mercado has proven multiple times that she can play any role, as evidenced by her past shows and teleserye.
In an exclusive video by ATM (Adventure. Taste. Moments), the Kapuso star looked back on some of the memorable characters she played on television, starting with playing Lira on the hit fantasy series Encantadia in 2005.
Jennylyn said the project was memorable as it was among her first big projects with GMA Network.
In 2007, Jennylyn starred as Super S in the popular series Super Twins. The actress revealed it was memorable as she was already pregnant while filming the series.
Meanwhile, her 2014 series Rhodora X is one of her favorite projects.
“Dito nahasa yung acting skills kasi tatlo 'yung characters na ginampan ko dito,” Jennylyn explained.
Jennylyn also happily looked back on her roles as Steffi and Maxine Dela Cruz in the Philippine adaptations of the Korean dramas My Love From The Star in 2017 and Descendants of the Sun in 2020, respectively.
Jennylyn said her most recent TV series, Love.Die. Repeat, was also challenging as she got pregnant in the middle of their lock-in taping.
