Prince Clemente shares how he asked Althea Ablan to the GMA Gala 2023
Local celebrities and personalities brought glitz and glam to the GMA Gala 2023 as they walked down the red carpet donned in their best "elegant formal" ensembles.
Before the stars got swept in the festivities of the night, ATM (Adventure. Taste. Moments) caught up with some of them, including Sparkle actress Althea Ablan and Prince Clemente.
In an online exclusive with ATM, Prince recounted how he asked Althea out as his date for this year's ball.
Prince said he first asked permission from Althea's mom and then worked with Althea's brothers to make sure she had no idea about his surprise proposal.
He said Althea thought they were only having dinner without knowing Prince already prepared the bouquet of flowers and the "eternal" flower.
When asked if Althea had a hunch about Prince's surprise, she said, "Ako, wala talaga totally," and said she even asked Prince what the occasion was because of the flowers.
Althea previously shared photos of Prince's date proposal on her Instagram.
"Thank you for making each and every moment the most special. Can't wait to walk on the red carpet with you," she said in her caption.
