The show begins airing tonight, after 'Juan Happy Love Story.'

GMA Network’s new program A1 Ko Sa’yo is set to redefine late night television. As the home of the biggest names in comedy, the Kapuso network wants to give viewers reasons to stay up, cheer up and feel good about life.

This was affirmed by Lilybeth G. Rasonable, the network’s Senior Vice President for Entertainment TV.

“Hindi naman kaila na the best in sitcoms, the best in comedy come from GMA. We’re very proud of that. Marami nang problema sa ating bansa, kailangan natin mas malibang, mas maaaliw, at mamaximize kung ano yung kakayahan ng GMA sa comedy,” she said.

With the massive success of Bubble Gang, the network will also air a comedy program for its late Thursday primetime slot.

“We started naman with Bubble Gang… Personally, I’m really hoping and praying that we can make this work back on late primetime so we can do more and change the landscape,” she added.

The executive also underlined the network’s strength and expressed hopefulness for the future of the show and the industry.

“That’s one thing that GMA is also known for – We just do not rest on whatever it is [na] nakasanayan na. We do things differently, and this is one way of doing things differently. We hope it will work so that we can do more things differently,” she concluded.
