Why #TripNiKris will air on GMA, not ABS-CBN

In a conversation with select members of the press, businesswoman and producer Rhodora Morales revealed why #TripNiKris will air on GMA, instead of Kris Aquino’s former home network ABS-CBN.
 
According to her, the latter already had programs lined up for the scheduled target airing of the TV special. 

 “I tried din [with] ABS-CBN pero kasi may mga naka-lock na eh. ‘Pag sinabi na sayong ganun, eh bakit ka pa naman mag-iinsist? Waste of time,” she said.
 
She, however, noted that the people she got to talk to in the Kapamilya network were happy about the project.
 
“Ay wala [silang personal grudges, whatsoever]. In fact, happy sila na si Kris, magiging ano na naman siya, buhay na buhay,” she added.

Tita Doray, who volunteered to produce the special for Kris, found a valuable partnership with the Kapuso network.
 
“Oh my God, ang babait nila. Kasi hindi ako sanay na nagpupunta sa mga [network, but] they are very warm,” she shared.
 
#TripNiKris is a two-hour special that covers talk, travel and food, among others. It will air on SNBO this Sunday, April 9.
