Mikee Quintos confirms breakup with boyfriend Paul Salas
Kinumpirma ni SLAY actress Mikee Quintos na hiwalay na sila ng kaniyang boyfriend at kapwa aktor na si Paul Salas matapos ang apat na taon.
Sa pagbisita nina Mikee at Gabbi Garcia sa Fast Talk with Boy Abunda nitong Martes, April 1, sinabi ni King of Talk Boy Abunda na may nakapagsabi sa kaniya tungkol sa kanilang hiwalayan. Kaya naman, deretsang tanong ng batikang host sa kaniya, “Oo, hindi, kayo ba ni Paul Salas ay nagkahiwalay na?”
Huminga muna ng malalim si Mikee, bago tuluyang sumagot, “Opo, hiwalay na kami.”
Nilinaw naman ng aktres na walang third party sa kanilang hiwalayan, ngunit hindi rin ito nagbigay ng dahilan kung bakit sila naghiwalay ni Paul. Sa halip, sinabi lang ni Mikee na mas mabuting ang aktor ang tanungin.
“Honestly, before today, pinag-iisipan ko ng mabuti kung magsasabi ba ako sa publiko. Hindi, mahirap for me. It's a big jump. 'Yung feelings ko, kinokontra 'yung iniintindi sa brain ko, lahat,” sabi ni Mikee.

Kuwento ni Mikee, may isang buwan na nang simulan nilang pag-usapan ni Paul ang kanilang desisyon na maghiwalay at pag-amin ng aktres, ngayon, nagiging klaro na para sa kanila na tama ang ginawa nilang desisyon. Sinabi rin ng aktres na mutual naman ito.
Aniya, bata pa naman sila at sa ngayon ay malaki lang ang pasasalamat niya sa SLAY dahil bukod sa nagiging abala siya sa trabaho bilang distraction, nahingan rin niya ang co-stars niyang sina Gabbi, Julie Anne San Jose, at Ysabel Ortega ng payo.
Sa ngayon, ipagpapa sa-Diyos na lang ni Mikee ang kahihinatnan ng kanilang relasyon, “'Yung will lang din ni Lord 'yung matutuloy sa ending so I'll just have faith on that na kung kami, kami. Kung kami, I know, siya na ang maghahanap ng way na mangyari, si Lord.”
Inamin din ni Mikee na sa kabila ng kanilang hiwalayan ay mahal pa rin niya si Paul, at nilinaw na pinaglaban nila pareho ang kanilang relasyon.
“Wala akong regrets. Ako, wala akong regrets. Mahirap for me 'to, 'yung desisyon na ito,” saad ni Mikee.
