Sam YG clarifies he's not the guy in Pia Wurtzbach's photo
After getting tagged and even receiving a text accompanying a picture asking if he's the person in the photo, DJ and host Sam YG finally clarified that he's not the man in the picture that's getting the attention of many recently.
Sam posted a picture of a text containing the picture and the question if he's the person in it on Instagram, and answered the questions in the caption.
“Para lang clear, HINDI ako to. Please stop spreading rumors. #YariNanaman ako neto,” he said.
He added, “I'm currently at home and happily married. This is the last time I'm gonna speak up about this issue. Sabi nga ni Prophet James: “I'm the happiest I've ever been.”
The photo in question was posted by Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach on her own Instagram page while on vacation at the Pansol Hot Spring Resort and is actually a photo of her fiance, Jeremy Jauncey.
She captioned the post, “Another adventure with my love. My daily dose of Vitamin C…cos when I see you, oks na me. Kung may Vitamin D, mas happy.”
Fans, friends, and netizens commented on Sam's post that they even wondered if he was the one in the picture.
Both actor Troy Montero and voice actor Inka Magnaye expressed how they thought he was the one in the photo.
Meanwhile, some netizens also asked the former beauty queen for her side of the story regarding the photo, which Pia gave in a comment.
“Tsk tsk.. mga tao talaga. I'm sorry Sam na nadamay ka sa issue na ito,” she posted.
Sam replied that everything is alright, and wished the couple to enjoy their vacation time.
