Song Kang is now in Manila and is looking forward to meet you!
Ahead of his first fan meeting in Manila on Sunday, March 5, South Korean actor Song Kang held a press conference to share his excitement over finally seeing his Filipino fans.
During the press conference, he said that he indulged himself with famous Pinoy delicacies like halo-halo, kare-kare, fried rice, and bulalo. He also wishes to visit Philippines again, but next time for a vacation.
His clip dancing New Jean's "Hype boy" went viral and when GMA The Heart of Asia asked him if he has any interest in becoming an idol, he cutely said “No” since he thinks that being an idol is very hard.
When asked about the things he is looking forward to the most for his fan meeting, he said that he is curious to see what kind of energy his Pinoy fans will be giving. He is very much excited to bond with everyone.
Song Kang made his debut in 2017 in the manga-inspired drama The Liar and His Lover and ever since then he has shown his versatility in acting through the inspiring tvN drama Navillera and the apocalyptic horror series Sweet Home. He is also known as one of K-Dramas most bankable leading men following the successful two-season Netflix original Love Alarm with Kim So-hyun, Nevertheless with Han So-hee, and Forecasting Love and Weather with Park Min-young.
He candidly shared his feels about being a top Korean actor, and took this opportunity to express how grateful he is to be acting in a time where Korean culture is very popular across the world.
