Alden Richards, tinawag na 'baptism of fire' ang pagdi-direk ng sariling Esports tournament

Napatunayan na ng Asia's Multimedia Star Alden Richards ang husay niya sa pag-arte, pagkanta, at hosting.

Kilala rin siya ng marami bilang entrepreneur. Pero ngayon, gusto naman ng Sparkle actor na pasukin ang mundo ng directing ng isang Esports competition.

Kamakailan, successful ang naging finals ng first season ng Myriad Esports Cup na inorganisa mismo ni Alden.

Idinaos ito sa Ynares Arena sa Pasig City last January 28.

Sa eksklusibong panayam ng 24 Oras kay Alden, ibinahagi nito ang experience directing a live event.

“Masarap sa pakiramdam, parang baptism of fire sa akin 'to”, saad niya, “It opened a lot of opportunities and interests for me especially sa field ng directing.

“Iba kasi 'pag sinabi mo director ka ng isang live event, especially an E-sports event. So, I'm just very happy and very proud of the turnout ng Myriad E-sports cup season one.”

Pero bago ang grand finals last weekend Myriad E-sports cup, bumiyahe muna sa Singapore si Alden Richards na birthday treat ng kanyang loyal fans na Aldenatics.

“Ginawan ko talaga ng time, kahit overnight lang, kahit in the midst of the preparation for the finals.

“Umikot-ikot lang kami all over the country, pero it was fun. It was quite a relaxing trip for me, parang break ko rin and then pagbalik ko. Paglapag na paglapag ko dito sa Pinas, diretso ako agad for the dry run of the event.”
