Therese Malvar filled with gratitude for 'Best Lead Actress' win at Saskatchewan International Film Festival
After winning the Best Lead Actress award at the Saskatchewan International Film Festival which was held last December 3 in Canada, Kapuso star Therese Malvar took to Instagram to express her gratitude over the award-giving body that recognized her talent.
The Kapuso actress posted a series of snaps of herself while holding her plaque of recognition on Wednesday, December 14.
“Thank you Saskatchewan Film Festival for this recognition! Super grateful and blessed to be guided by a talented cast and crew!” she wrote.
In her message to GMANetwork.com, Therese also thanked the director and crew of the film Broken Blooms, for trusting and believing in her acting skills.
“I would like to thank Direk Louie Ignacio and team for trusting in me. I also would like to thank Engr Benjie Austria sa suporta at gabay para sa pelikulang ito.
“Thank you tito Ferdy Lapuz as always for paving the way for my dreams. Maraming salamat din po sa GMA Sparkle for always allowing me to achieve my dreams.
“Couldn't have done it without all of you! It is an honor to be recognized once again internationally. I give all my glory to the Lord."
Broken Blooms also stars multi-awarded Kapuso actors including Jaclyn Jose, Jeric Gonzales, Lou Veloso, Royce Cabrera, and Boobay.
In 2022, the film already received 14 international awards. Starting on December 14, the award-winning independent film Broken Blooms will also be shown in local cinemas.
