Sharon Cuneta mulls over retirement
Sharon Cuneta is already considering retirement from showbiz.
An award-winning singer-actress and and effective brand endorser, Sharon has achieved so many things that others could only dream of since she started her career at the age of 12.
But it seems that the Megastar is ready to move on.
In her latest Instagram post, the 56-year-old A-list celebrity admitted that being in the showbiz industry for a long time can be pretty exhausting.
Sharon stated, “This is from Joanna Gaines' new book, The Stories We Tell. This part really resonated with me because, well, I am 56 now - and I am just undeniably EXHAUSTED. Retirement is calling.”
She continued, “Once in a while I can pop up in a movie or two, a concert, or a TV show, even a season or a series if it's not too tiring. But I AM tired…All I wish I could do is be with my family and take care of them.
“And do all those other things I always wish I could do but just couldn't find the time for. Please pray with me. Thank you so much and I love you all.”
Several showbiz and TV personalities reacted to her post, including talent manager Noel Ferrer and GMA Integrated News anchor Connie Sison, who are all praying for her.
