Chanty a big fan of popular historical portal fantasy series 'Maria Clara at Ibarra'
Lapillus member Chanty is among the millions of fans watching the GMA-7 hit historical portal fantasy series Maria Clara at Ibarra on TV and online.
Chanty, who recently inked her contract with Sparkle GMA Artist Center said in her interview with GMANetwork.com that the show is one of her favorite genres.
She explained, “These days I have been watching Maria Clara at Ibarra, kasi po mahilig ako sa K-drama e and especially mga historical na dramas and 'yung idea lang na mero'n na rin po historical teleserye na rin po dito sa Philippines 'yung maipapakita pa po natin 'yung Filipino culture and all that. Parang na-excite po ako sa idea.”
If given the chance, Chanty will be thrilled to do a project like Maria Clara at Ibarra, too.
“'Yung mga ganung type ng teleserye if given the chance to play a role, even if it's just a small role I would really-really be thankful po.”
Now that she is a Kapuso, the K-pop idol would also want to return to acting, which has always been a dream for hers since she was a little girl.
The Kapuso beauty recalled, “It has been a childhood dream to perform on stage, of course, to sing, to dance. But also acting, I have been enjoying acting ever since I was a little girl even in my bedroom I used to just act by myself or with my sisters.”
She continued, “It's always something na I have been [passionate about], naging passion ko na rin po siya. And yeah, I can't wait to grow po on this acting like entertainment… I just can't wait to explore myself on that side.”
