Singer Keith Martin found dead days ago in QC condo
As the family of American singer, songwriter, and record producer Keith Martin still await the results of the autopsy, initial reports said that he was dead for days, at most a week, when found lifeless inside his condo unit in Eastwood City in Quezon City.
R&B singer and Keith Martin fan Kris Lawrence told GMAnetwork.com about what he knew of what happened, "Ang narinig ko was they found his body after 5 days, dead in his condo sa Eastwood."
Kris was one of the first few celebrities who broke the news about Keith's death online.
Meanwhile, former Viva hot babe Sheree Vidal who happens to be a dear friend of the international singer also echoed the same revelations.
In a statement made by Sheree to the media, she said that Keith's neighbors were complaining of a nauseating stench coming from the singer's unit.
It was only when they checked his unit that they found Keith's lifeless decomposing body, believed to be almost a week dead by the time he was found.
The two have had collaborations with each other and Keith, in fact, even wrote her song titled "Heaven knows."
Keith shot to global fame in the '90s back as one of the most enduring R&B singers of his time.
He popularized the classic, "Never Find Someone Like You," "Angel Eyes," "Forever will be," and many others.
But it was his 2004 smash hit "Because of you" that catapulted him to skyrocketing fame.
The singer has been living in the country for years and has been constantly collaborating with local artists to produce good music.
Among the artists he's worked with are Sheree Vidal, Jinky Vidal, Luke Mijares, Kris Lawrence, and many others.
He was last publicly seen at singer Daryl Ong's wedding just recently and even performed a Boyz II Men medley with Thor Dulay, Michael Pangilinan, and the groom himself.
His family has not released any statement yet as of writing as to the details of Keith's death.
His partner Diana Soto Dayao, however, expressed dismay at spread of supposed inaccurate details about Keith's passing on Facebook.
"All these news with inaccurate details of celebrity death just so they could publish something. People who'd give interviews with distorted impressions just so it's 'juicy.' Where's the respect," she said.
