Lexi Gonzales bonds with fans in 'Something In The Rain' listening session
Lexi Gonzales's fellow Kapuso stars were also present in the virtual listening session of her single "Something In The Rain."
Kapuso actress Lexi Gonzales is releasing her first single "Something In The Rain" on November 12, and to mark the date, she had a virtual listening session with Kapuso stars and showbiz fans, care of GMA Music.
"Na-enjoy ko 'yung song, sana magtuloy tuloy na 'yung pagkanta ni Lexi," Kapuso actress Manilyn Reynes shared.
Kapuso singer Anthony Rosaldo was also present during the listening session. He said, Congratulations, napa-proud ako. Alam nating magaling si Lexi na artista, pero lingid sa kaalaman natin magaling din siyang singer. Kapag kumakanta siya sa All-Out Sundays, isa ako sa pumupuri sa kanya.
He added, "Naalala ko si Taylor Swift sa boses mo. Feel good 'yung song niya, something I would play kapag nagda-drive ako or kapag umuulan. Perfect siyang pang soundtrack sa mga Korean adaptation."
Actor Gil Cuerva said, "Congrats, Lexi. The song is very good. Her voice is really sweet. I'm really happy for you."
Lexi shared how the song was created after the composer was inspired by a Korean drama. "This song I'm proud to say is composed by Ms. Rina Mercado, she got inspired to write the song from a K-drama called Something in the Rain."
Lexi added, "Maraming salamat sa Kapuso Brigade sa support niyo sa akin. Thank you to my LGenies, and my family, my friends from my Alma Mater Holy Trinity, and my professors.
