Harry Styles reportedly joins the Marvel Cinematic Universe
“Watermelon Sugar” singer Harry Styles is reportedly the newest addition to the ever-growing roster of stars of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
In a tweet, Variety's Matt Donnelly revealed that the news was unveiled during the premiere of The Eternals in Los Angeles on October 18, Monday.
He said that the former One Direction member and rumored new flame of actress Olivia Wilde is set to play Eros, the brother of Thanos.

On Marvel's website, Eros is described as “an Eternal who loves life, adventure, and romance, earning the nickname Knave of Hearts.”
Eros is said to be born on Titan, a moon of Saturn, as the youngest son of A'Lars a.k.a. Mentor of the Eternals and Sui-San. There, he grew alongside his older mutant brother, Thanos.
He was born with the ability to stimulate pleasure in others. However, it has no effect on Thanos as he was born with Deviant Syndrome, which makes him “physically repulsive to his fellows.”
Eventually, Eros becomes Strafox and joins the Avengers.
So, when will Harry appear in an MCU film? Screenrant has a very convincing theory that it might be sooner than we think.
They recently reported that the post-credits scenes for The Eternals movie were not shown during an early press screening.
Screenrant also wrote, “Perhaps there's a specific reason as to why they're not showing the scenes just yet--one that surrounds British pop singer Harry Styles.”
So, will Harry be making an appearance on The Eternals post-credit scenes? No one can say for sure until the movie opens in theaters on November 5.
