IU is back with a new single!
On October 8, IU dropped a teaser revealing the date of her upcoming digital single "Strawberry Moon."
In a Twitter post, IU announced that it will be released on October 19. This comes after the release of her fifth studio album LILAC in March 2021.
The moving teaser shows two headlines, "IU's 'Strawberry Moon' that makes love come true will rise," and, "Different names to call a full moon."

On October 5, IU confirmed that she is releasing a new song. In the teaser, IU is seen holding two ice cream cones while sitting on top of a scoop of strawberry ice cream, surrounded by yellow dandelions.
The image also features a pink moon in the background.
