Faye Lorenzo gives her opinion about fans tagging her as the 'viral queen' of 'Bubble Gang'
Sexy comedienne Faye Lorenzo flashed a huge smile during her interview with GMANetwork.com this Thursday afternoon (October 7), when she was asked about her viral sketches in the multi-awarded gag show Bubble Gang.
Last year, she and Archie Alemania scored a viral video in the comedy sketch “Imaginary Son,” which garnered over 43 million views on YouTube.
Faye told GMANetwork.com that she doesn't feel the pressure being referred to by fans of the show as a “viral queen.”
“Hindi naman po ako napressure, kasi parang hindi ko nga po ine-expect na magvi-viral po 'yun, 'yung sketch ko, kasi po siyempre as baguhan pa po ako nun talaga, so parang nagulat ako. Nakakatuwa rin siya sa feeling na napansin ka, ibigsabihin [“may ibubuga”] ka po, kasi napansin ka nung mga tao. So, para sa akin, 'wow nakakatuwa naman,'” she said.
Just like her co-star, Michael V., who is also the creative director of the gag show, Faye is looking forward to creating comedy sketches for the show in the future.
She shared, “Yes po, bawat isa naman po sa amin binibigyan po ng chance kung saan ka babagay, e, binibigay naman po ng Bubble Gang chance, so feeling ko magkakaroon din po ako ng ganun.”
In other news, the talented comedienne also inked her new management contract recently with GMA Artist Center.
The sexy star expressed her gratitude for her home network and all the bosses for their immense trust in her.
“I'm very grateful kasi sobrang bait sa akin ng GMA-7 tapos pinagkatiwalaan na naman nila ako. So, sobrang happy! Ang hirap i-explain talaga 'yung nararamdaman ko. Sobrang saya ko sa GMA Artist Center, sa GMA and sa mga bosses. Grabe 'yung tiwala nila sa akin,” Faye said.
She even recalled her first audition with GMA Artist Center, which she considers as a once and lifetime opportunity.
Faye remembered, “Before kasi nagta-talent lang ako ganyan, 'tapos one time, 'yung GMA nangangailangan sila ng bagong artist and then nag-try ako- nag-audition ako. Sinuwerte ako, nakapasok ako.Pero grabe talaga 'yung struggle ko, kasi sobrang kaba ko kapag nandoon ka sa situation na 'yun, pero inisip ko, minsan lang 'yun darating, so inisip ko, minsan lang 'to, so go lang, laban!”
Aside from regular show Bubble Gang, Faye appeared in past shows like Madrasta (2019) and the GTV telefantasya series The Lost Recipe (2021).
