GMA Artist Center holds biggest contract signing event 'Signed for Stardom'
GMA Artist Center (GMAAC) continues its mission to discover and hone world-class talents, and in line with this, GMAAC just held its biggest contract signing event to date titled "Signed for Stardom."
The highlights of the biggest Kapuso contract signing event so far were aired on All-Out Sundays on September 5.
Present virtually during the "Signed for Stardom" event were Vice President and CFO Felipe S. Yalong, Senior Vice President for Entertainment Group Lilybeth G. Rasonable, GMA Films, Inc. President and Programming Consultant to the Chairman and CEO Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes, Senior Assistant Vice President for Alternative Productions Gigi Santiago-Lara, and Assistant Vice President, Head for Talent Imaging and Marketing Unit of GMA Artist Center Simoun Ferrer, new Kapuso star builder Johnny Mahanan, and GMA Artist Center's Senior Talent Manager Daryl Zamora.
Aside from GMA executives, the co-managers of the newly signed stars were also present to support them.
All the Kapuso artists were dressed to the nines as they were formally welcomed to GMA during the 'Signed for Stardom' event, hosted by Martin Javier and Rain Matienzo.
Among the newest additions to the Kapuso Network's roster of stars are showbiz royalties Brianna, Saviour Ramos, Tanya Ramos, Lala Vinzon, Alexandra Yap, Julia Pascual, Claire Castro, and Sandro Muhlach.
Also among the newly signed artists are fresh faces and promising talents such as Carlo San Juan, Lei Angela, Ashley Alcayde, Bryce Eusebio, Coleen Paz, Shanelle Agustin, Jamir Zabarte, and Gabrielle Hahn.
A number of loyal Kapuso artists dubbed as “The Stellars” also renewed their contracts during the "Signed for Stardom" event such as Mark Herras, Pauline Mendoza, Ashley Ortega, Therese Malvar, Vaness Del Moral, Analyn Barro, Faye Lorenzo, Lucho Ayala, and Sherilyn Reyes-Tan.
Also, a group of both new and established Kapuso TV hosts including Martin Javier, Patricia Tumulak, Rain Matienzo, Luane Dy, and Chef Jose Sarasola also officially signed as GMA artists.
Plus, GMA's powerhouse performers Denise Barbacena and Sheemee Buenaobra and "The Charmers" Migs Villasis, Kimson Tan, Levince Sotto, Gab Yabut, and Sebastian Pajarillo also signed as Kapuso artists.

During the contract signing, Gigi Santiago-Lara shared her insights about the entertainment industry and wished the newly-signed artists to do well in their fields.
“I would like to congratulate all our artists and we welcome you as part of our growing family, ang pag-aartista, ang pagiging performer, ay hindi madali. It's long hours, it's hard work, but we hope that you make the most of the opportunities you are given, to showcase your creativity and your talent to the world. We are going to support you and we are going to try our best to provide opportunities and we hope that you will also give your best in performing and in sharing the best that you can be, not just to us but also to your fans and our audience.”
Johnny Manahan a.k.a. Mr. M, who also recently signed with the Kapuso Network, gave encouraging words for the new GMA artists.
“As you know, the job of the actor or artist is to deliver memorable performances in whatever projects he or she may be doing.
“Our job--or my job--is to transform the GMA Artist Center into a world class organization, ready for the challenges of a new era of artist management.
“This is your home and we are here, happy to be at your service, and hoping for a mutually satisfying professional relationship.”
The newly signed Kapuso artists were also welcomed with a brilliant song and dance number by the AyOS barkada including Julie Anne San Jose, Barbie Forteza, Rayver Cruz, Miguel Tanfelix, Aicelle Santos, Rita Daniela, Ken Chan, Gabbi Garcia, Ruru Madrid, Jessica Villarubin, Jeremiah Tiangco, Derrick Monasterio, Sanya Lopez, Bianca Umali, and Glaiza de Castro.
