Miss International Philippines 2021 Hannah Arnold dedicates win to her 'guardian angels'

By Serina Joyce Duque
Who are Binibining Pilipinas International 2021 Hannah Arnold's guardian angels?

Hannah Arnold dedicated her Miss International Philippines win to her late family, whom she considers as her "guardian angels."

On her July 12 Instagram post, Hannah said that she was "still lost for words" after winning the prestigious pageant.

The Masbate beauty queen penned: "I am beyond grateful for this blessing and am still lost for words right now.

"I offer this to my guardian angels - Nan, Pop, Lola and Mama Sharon who believed in me and my dreams.

"I know they were watching from above and guiding my every step last night."

She shared a video compilation of her journey toward the crown, including clips of her wearing her remarkably gorgeous pink evening gown.

Hannah strongly ended her caption with: "I am Hannah Consencino Arnold, your Binibining Pilipinas International 2021."

One of the highlights of this year's Binibining Pilipinas pageant was Hannah's winning "freedom of speech" answer during the Q&A portion.

She was asked by renowned broadcast journalist Pinky Webb: "Given the reach and power of social media, do you believe that genuine freedom of speech exists in the Philippines nowadays? Why or why not?"

To which the beauty queen answered: "Freedom of speech is a basic human right that we all must remember and it is important for democracy and with the upcoming elections, we definitely need free speech.

“On Twitter, we are limited to a few characters and what I've seen from these tweets have been powerful and helped me think of who I would like to vote for in the upcoming elections."

Hannah will be representing the Philippines at the 60th Miss International pageant to be held in November 2021.

Other queens who were crowned last July 11 were Samantha Panlilio (Binibining Pilipinas Grand International), Cinderella Obeñita (Binibining Pilipinas Intercontinental), Maureen Montagne (Binibining Pilipinas Globe), Gabrielle Camille Basiano (1st runner-up), and Meiji Cruz (2nd runner-up).
