It's official: Johnny Manahan signs with GMA Artist Center
It's official! Johnny Manahan, a pillar in the Philippine entertainment industry, came back to where he started as he officially joined GMA Network.
Mr. Manahan, who's been known in the industry by the unique single letter name Mr. M, brings his decades of experience to GMA Artist Center as a consultant.
The virtual contract signing happened today, July 13, with GMA Network Chairman and CEO Atty. Felipe L. Gozon, President and COO Gilberto Duavit, Jr., and Executive Vice President and CFO Felipe S. Yalong taking part in the event.
Also present in the virtual contract signing were Senior Vice President for Entertainment Group Lilybeth G. Rasonable, Senior Assistant Vice President for Alternative Productions Gigi Santiago-Lara, and Assistant Vice President, Head for Talent Imaging and Marketing Unit of GMA Artist Center Simoun Ferrer, GMA Films, Inc. President and Programming Consultant to the Chairman and CEO Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes, and Vice President for Corporate Affairs and Communications Angel Javier-Cruz.
Unknown to many, Mr. M began his journey in show business as a singer on Uncle Bob's show in GMA in the 1970s.
