Lani Misalucha stays optimistic despite numerous struggles in her life
Highly-respected singer and The Clash judge Lani Misalucha offers a helpful reminder to those struggling right now.
Before the end of 2020, Asia's Nightingale revealed to the public that she and her husband Papa Nols, battled bacterial meningitis caused by Streptococcus suis.
One of the serious effects of this disease left Lani deaf in her right ear.
In her Instagram post last week, the award-winning Kapuso diva opened up to her followers and fans about her recent struggles.
She shared, “Recently napakaraming bagay na umiikot ikot at nagpapagulo sa isip ko (o siguro hormones ko lang 'to). Siguro dahil ang daming mga nangyari, isa na dun ang nagkasakit at na-ospital kami ni Papa Nols last year (at nag iwan pa ng disability sa amin) pero bago pa kami ma-ospital ni Papa Nols a little over a month before that si Papa Nols muna ang na hospitalized dahil sa kanyang triple bypass.
“Syempre 'pag may mga ganyang hospitalization (St. Luke's BGC pa) mayron din nabubutas na bulsa. Pero pera lang 'yun kikitain pa naman uli 'yun.
“Pero may sumunod pang pagsubok na napaka sakit sa dibdib. Di ko na lang isusulat kasi nakaka lungkot nga eh. Basta sunud-sunod! Ang daming ganap!”
She went on to discuss some other problems, but despite these challenges, Lani ended her post on a positive note.
“Tapos hanggang ngayon may mga palpak pa na kailangan i-fix dito sa building na parang hindi matapos tapos ang pag re-repair. Syempre 'pag may mga ganyang i-re-repair ibig sabihin nun gastos diba. Aaarrrrggghhh!!!! Meron mga ire-repair tapos bingi ka pa. (Hahaha!!! 🤣 Ano koneksyon ng pag repair at pagka bingi?) Basta happy na lang.”
In other news, the All-Out Sundays star also took the opportunity to use her star power to lend a hand to the government's COVID-19 vaccination efforts, after she announced that she already got her first dose.
She posted, “Salamat po Panginoong Diyos Ama sa pagkakataon na mabakunahan na ako at si Papa Nols. Maraming salamat po sa lungsod ng Quezon City at naisakatuparan ito sa pamamagitan ng maganda at maayos na sistema ninyo sa 'pag bigay ng bakuna sa mga tao.”
