BTS reveals title of new song written by Ed Sheeran
On June 28, Ed Sheeran connected with his fans through Instagram stories posting short clips of him answering questions. And in one of the stories, the singer spoiled the title of BTS's upcoming song.
One fan asked Ed about his favorite BTS song and the singer answered, "I'd say my favorite BTS song is their new song, 'Permission to Dance.'"
Excited fans couldn't help expressing their anticipation and delight on social media. For those who don't know, Ed Sheeran is one of the writers behind the yet-to-be-released song, "Permission to Dance."

On July 2, Big Hit Music shared a track list for the CD version of "Butter" including four songs: the previously released digital single " Butter," their new song "Permission to Dance," and the instrumental version of both songs.

BTS's new song "Permission to Dance" was produced by Steve Mac, Stephen Kirk, and Jenna Andrews, and written by Ed Sheeran, Steve Mac, Johnny McDaid, and Jenna Andrews.
In addition, the "Butter" CD version will be released on ARMY's birthday, July 9.
