“Huwag matakot”- Jessica Soho

Award-winning Kapuso news personality, Jessica Soho, joined the bandwagon of famous personalities who are using their star power to encourage Filipinos to get their COVID-19 shots.

With the government ramping up its vaccination drive to achieve herd immunity against the coronavirus disease by the end of the year, Miss Jessica used her influence to alleviate the fears of fellow kababayans about the vaccine.

In the official Facebook page of Kapuso Mo Jessica Soho, the GMA News pillar shared this message to everyone who are having second thoughts about getting vaccinated. She said, “Magpabakuna, huwag matakot!”

Based on the post, Jessica went to the vaccination drive held at Barangay Old Balara in Quezon City.

As of June 20, the Department of Health (DOH) already administered 8,407,342 vaccine doses across the Philippines and 2,153,942 individuals are already fully vaccinated.

Some Kapuso celebrities who have already received their first dose or have been fully inoculated include Manilyn Reynes, Pia Guanio, and real-life couple Jak Roberto and Barbie Forteza.
