Laguna Provincial Board Member Angelica Jones confirmed yesterday, April 21 that she and her son Angelo have both tested negative for COVID-19.

Comedienne-turned-politician Angelica Jones announced yesterday, April 21 that she and her son Angelo have recovered from the highly-contagious COVID-19, after testing negative in the RT-PCR swab test.

In her post on Facebook, she expressed her gratitude for everyone who supported her family during this ordeal and they can go back home to continue their recovery, but asked for continued prayers for her Mommy Beth Jones, who is still fighting for her life in the intensive care unit (ICU).

Angelica shared, “Ngunit ang kinalulungkot po namin di pa namin kasama ang aking Ina sa pag uwi. Mananatili pa rin ang aking Ina sa ICU intubated.

“PLEASE CONTINUE TO PRAY FOR MY MOM🙏🙏🙏

“Lord i Trust you... YOU HEAL MY MOM🙏

“ I LOVE YOU LORD ❤🙏”

The total number of active COVID-19 cases in the Philippines was reported to have reached 116,434 yesterday, which was much lower compared to data reported on Tuesday.

The drop in the numbers was attributed to the increase of recovered patients that reached 19,699. Meanwhile, COVID-19 infections in the Philippines are now at 962,307.
