According to eagle-eyed fans, Mark seems to be establishing his studio in China due to his increasing presence in the Chinese market.
It can be recalled that he held his first-ever fan meeting in China titled “On Your Mark” from 2019 to 2020 by visiting the cities Nanjing, Chengdu, and Shanghai. Furthermore, he is a brand ambassador for many Chinese brands, including Davines, Mentholatum, and China Unicorn, a large telecommunications operator.
He has also debuted there as a solo artist with his Chinese singles “Outta My Head” and “Never Told You.”
It seems like setting up his own studio has been a plan of Mark Tuan for a while.
In a recent Instagram Live, the K-pop idol revealed that he wouldn't be entering any entertainment company in South Korea or the United States as he wants to “do things on his own.”
He revealed to fans, “I did receive a couple of offers, but I don't think I'll be in any for now. I don't think I'll be in any here in the United States too.
“I want to try doing this on my own that way, and I can do the things I want to do. If I join a company… I don't know…”
