Roberta Tamondong gives Philippines its first Miss Eco Teen International title
Roberta Angela Tamondong of the Philippines clinched the Miss Eco Teen International 2020.
The pageant's finale took place today, December 6, at Albatros White Beach Resort in Hurghada, Egypt.
It was the Philippines' first title in the said global pageant.
The Miss Eco Teen International is the sister pageant of Miss Eco International.
Both pageants are designed to promote eco-tourism and environmental awareness.
Roberta's victory capped off an impressive campaign which saw her win five special awards en route to the crown.
These awards were the Best in Eco Dress, Best in National Costume, 1st Runner-Up Best in Beach Wear, 2nd Runner-Up Best in Talent, and Top 10 Best in Fitness.

Roberta's profile said that she “stands at 175 cm tall” and “has always aspired to be a beauty queen and represent the Philippines at the international stage.”
Her participation in the pageant was announced last November 18. Ro-An flew to Egypt on November 25.
Ro-An bagged the Binibining Pilipinas Quezon City crown in 2019 and won first runner-up at Miss Bikini Philippines that same year.
