Jamir Garcia's live-in partner posts heartfelt message for the Slapshock frontman
Sojina Jaya Crisostomo took to social media her bereavement for the untimely death of her partner, Slapshock frontman Jamir Garcia.
Jamir was found lifeless at their residence in Quezon City, and was declared dead on arrival at the Metro North Medical Center Hospital.
Celebrities expressed their sympathies for the loss of a colleague, idol, and friend but nothing compares to the grief felt by Jaya who has been with Jamir for 18 years.
She wrote about him, saying, “Mahal na mahal kita. Hanggang sa muli asawa ko.. ipaglalaban kita habang nabubuhay ako. Pahinga ka na.”
Jaya also addressed their family and friends who sent their messages of support during this trying time.
She said, "I receive all your messages and I'm grateful for all the prayers, concerns, condolences, and sympathies we receive. Ramdam namin ang inyong pakikiramay at pagmamahal. Maraming salamat. However, I can't reply to each of them, hoping for your understanding.
"As our family goes through this very tough time, may I request that you give us time to privately grieve and mourn for our beloved Jamir for momentarily. And as respect for Jamir, may I request you to please hold on all the good memories of Jamir in your hearts. Please continue to pray for our family for healing and strength as we go through this most difficult time. Thank you."
Jamir and Jaya have three children; two sons named Seven, 15, Aven, 8, and their daughter Heaven, 3.
Aside from Jamir, the entertainment scene suffered the loss of other artists in 2020 who include Ramon Revilla, Sr., Anita Linda, Kim Idol, Lloyd Cadena, Emman Nimedez, and Babajie.
