Margie Moran shares inspiring message for Miss U PH 1st runnerup Ysabella Roxas Ysmael

Miss Universe 1973 Margarita “Margie” Moran's top choice to win the title of Miss Universe Philippines 2020 was none other than her niece, Ysabella Roxas Ysmael.

Ysabella came up short in her bid and finished a strong 1st runner up. Iloilo city bet Rabiya Mateo was proclaimed as the winner of the prestigious pageant this year.

On Instagram, Margie shared a few words of wisdom to her dear niece Ysabella.

She posted, “The first runner up is my Champion. Ysabella Roxas Ysmael. You were a stand out but the purpose designed for you is greater than you can imagine. “A star does not compete with other stars around it. It just shines”. Matshona Dhliwayo.
