'Glee' actress Naya Rivera, missing after her 4-year-old son was found alone in a boat
On Wednesday (July 8), 'Glee' actress Naya Rivera was reported missing during her trip to Lake Piru, California with her 4-year-old son, Josey Hollis Dorsey.
According to the Ventura County Sheriff's Department, at about 1 p.m., Rivera rented a pontoon boat to go swimming with her son in Lake Piru.
Three hours after the rental for the boat was overdue, the staff found it on the lake with her son asleep onboard. However, Rivera was nowhere to be found.
Officials were immediately notified to conduct the search for Rivera with the help of helicopters, drones, and dive teams.
At of this writing, Rivera is yet to be found and authorities have suspended the search which is expected to resume on Thursday morning.
Her son was reported to be unharmed, however, it is not clear how he got back on the boat.
Rivera's last Instagram post posted a day ago, was a photo of her and her son with the caption, "Just the two of us."
