Gerphil Flores belts out 'Buwan' live on Unang Hirit!
Asia's Golden Girl Gerphil Flores has graced Unang Hirit today, July 7, where she sang singer Juan Karlos's hit song “Buwan.”
But before her performance, Gerphil was asked by the show's host Lyn Ching if her taste in music has changed since she is classified as a classical crossover singer.
“Kaya siya may crossover na term is because nakakapag-explore ako na nire-rearrange namin 'yung song.
"So, kunwari popular song and then we change it into classical manner,” she said.
Gerphil auditioned on Asia's Got Talent in 2015 where she got the Golden Buzzer from David Foster and she finished 2nd Runner-up in the same competition.
She graduated from The University of British Columbia with a degree in Art History in 2019.
