Lee Min-ho and Woo Do-hwan share cute photos prior to latter's enlistment
If you're not over The King: Eternal Monarch yet as much as we are, get ready to have the feels because Lee Min-ho just posted an adorable photo with co-star Woo Do-hwan prior to his military enlistment.
On Instagram, the K-drama actor posted an endearing photo of him hugging Woo Do-hwan and his shaved head for his upcoming military duties.
In the caption, Lee Min-ho wrote, “Yeong, I hope that now you can become the best shooter in the field.”
“Yeong” is the bodyguard character of Woo Do-hwan in the drama series.
In response, Woo Do-hwan posted the same set of photos and wrote, “I will go and come back, Your Majesty.”
In The King: Eternal Monarch Lee Min-ho played the character of Lee Gon, the emperor of an alternate-universe Korea while Woo Do-hwan played dual roles as the emperor's bodyguard in one universe and an ordinary public service worker in another.
Woo Do-hwan announced his enlistment last June 24 through a handwritten letter to his fans thanking them for all the loved he's received from his past and current projects. t I was in thanks to the overflowing love everyone gave me.
Mentioning, “I was happy while doing every project I was in thanks to the overflowing love everyone gave me.
“Thank you for watching over my 20s and loving me. Thanks to that, I was able to spend my 20s very happily.
“I hope that you will be healthy and happy during these difficult times. I will return in good health and work to impress (you all) once again.
“I love you so much and feel so thankful that I cannot express it fully in words.”
Woo Do-hwan is expected to enter his military service Monday, July 6.
