Gil Cuerva then and now

My Love From the Star.'

My Love from the Star.

Aniya, “I think for me, my proudest Kapuso moment would still be the first show I did which is My Love from the Star.

“Because even if I auditioned for it, I think it just happened by chance or by destiny, you would say.

“Before showbiz, I was already modeling and that was kind of the path that I had [in mind].

“I came back home [in the Philippines] to fix my documents for a different country that I was supposed to model in and then they told me to audition for My Love From the Star and that was it! From then on, I got it, I got the show.

“That's how I was able to enter showbiz and that for me is my proudest Kapuso moment.”

Pagkatapos ng kanyang pagganap sa My Love from the Star, hinirang si Gil sa 31st PMPC Star Awards for Television for Best New Male TV Personality.
