Heart Evangelista on becoming a GMA talent: "They took me when I had nothing"

As GMA Network celebrates its 70th anniversary, Heart Evangelista looks back at her colorful showbiz career as a Kapuso.

The Queen of Creative Collaborations shared that her proudest moment as a Kapuso is when she first signed with the network in 2008, describing it as a life-changing event of her life.

"I guess it would be the first time I've signed with GMA as I was also going through so much transition in my life and looking back, it really changed my life, " Heart said.

"It was such a big part of my life so I'm always grateful to GMA for welcoming me."

For the past 12 years, Heart has been enjoying being a Kapuso not just only because of the significant projects given to her, but also because of the warmth and openness of its people.

"Everyone is kind," she continued.

"They took me when I had nothing and, you know, that really says so much about who they are and I'll forever be grateful to them," she then concluded.

Believing in GMA's core values, Heart decided to become a full-fledged Kapuso talent when she signed an exclusive management contract with GMA Artist Center on December 13, 2018.
