Vanessa, Daniel Matsunaga set to leave temporary beach home after 70+ days
It was supposed to be a horrifying experience for the family of Brapanese model Vanessa Matsunaga when they got stranded in a beach with the imposition of the Luzon-wide enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) last March, but their extended vacation turned out to be the best option for them.
Aside from celebrating her daughter Bella's birthday as originally planned, they ended up celebrating their mom Geralda's 61st birthday as well.
But with the country's economy opening up slowly and with the relaxation of the lockdown, Vanessa is faced with the daunting reality that they will have to return to their city life soon.
Vanessa shared her thoughts about leaving their beach life on Instagram, describing it as a "bittersweet" moment for the whole family.
"Husband just gave me the truth bomb by saying “we can't stay here forever!” So now we are slowly transitioning from 70+ beach days to going back to the suburbs life.
"It was bittersweet at the beginning of the quarantine and now it's bittersweet leaving the beach life behind."
The model also pointed out that she will terribly miss witnessing the spectacular sunsets while hanging out on the beach.
"Gonna miss getting out to see every sunset and just lounging around guessing how pretty it's gonna be.
"What different colors will show and what kinda clouds will show off to make it even more incredible."
Meanwhile, Daniel is looking forward to returning to Manila.
See you soon Manila. Coming back stronger and with much more focus. Time to work hard. 🙏🏼
