Kapuso actor and dancer Mark Herras reminisced on his 17-year-career in an exclusive interview with GMA Network.
According to Mark, he thinks that the most memorable highlight of his career was when he became the StarStruck Season One Ultimate Male Survivor in 2003.
"Ang first [career highlight] ko is I siyempre nanalo ako doon. And then I think one of my first few movies, 'Let the Love Begin,' kasama ko sina Richard Gutierrez and Angel Locsin. Also my solo movie with Jennylyn Mercado, 'Say That You Love Me.'"
The pilot season of GMA's reality artista-search launched the careers of some of the most well-known stars today which includes Mark and his fellow winner, Jennylyn Mercado.
For Mark, his first few achievements definitely hold a special place in his heart no matter how big his name has gotten since. He also often reminisces about the night of his win, especially when certain events trigger that memory.
"Until now, may mga events na nagpapaalala sa'kin ng nakaraan ko.
"For example, I was a part of this charity event siguro a few months ago and 'nung tinawag 'yung pangalan ko, parang na-relive ko, bumalik sa alaala ko 'yung sigaw ng tao. Masarap sa pakiramdam na it's still there, nakakatuwa lang.
"I'm just really thankful for everything na na-experience ko sa industriyang 'to," he said.
