Before his passing, the story of Babajie and his special friendship with an Italian model was featured in 'KMJS.'

Comedian Babajie or Alfredo Cornejo, Jr., recently passed away on May 4 at the San Lazaro Hospital due to pneumonia. He was 25 years old.

Before his passing, Babajie went viral a few months ago for his funny antics, his special friendship with an Italian model, and inspiring endeavors.

In an episode of Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho back in September 2019, Babajie revealed the real score between him and his friend.

Babajie also spoke about addressing bullying regarding his appearance and how he deals with it.

"Happy naman, kasi ito ang binigay ng Diyos 'eh. Kung hindi dahil dito, hindi ako makikilala 'eh.

"Ngayon meron akong business, nagde-deliver ako ng mga de lata, pagkain, mga damit.

"Nasa tao naman iyon kung mahirap ang buhay. Kumporme naman kasi iyon sa sipag mo," he added.

Babajie said his earnings help his family financially.

The comedian also went viral online when photos of him with Italian model friend Ciro, who is living in the Philippines, went viral online.

He narrated how they met backstage for a show.

"Sa may Eat Bulaga, nag-guest si Diego, ipinakilala ako.

"Pinakilala ako tapos...kasi sweet kasi siya e...Niyakap ako," Babajie recalled in the KMJS episode.

"Sabi niya, 'Hello! Kamusta?' Tapos sabi ko, 'Ang gwapo naman nito!' Na-in love ako e," he added.

Ciro also had something to say about Babajie, "Ang cute niya. Ang sweet niya. Unique siya. Exotic ang beauty niya."
